Today I found a Luna Moth near the base of Mt. Mansfield in VT. It was in ferns-nearly the same color. I put my finger down in front of it and it climbed right on. I raised my finger and looked at the beautiful thing up close. It seemed to have wet/damp wings which it did not seem to have the power to flap. I wondered if it was new-recently emerged (or whatever it does) and its wings were still moist and needed to dry. I put it down on the same fern and off it crawled and off we walked a little bit happier.

Good opening. But Fred and Greg are not names for primordial things. Elders of the Universe and ancient reptiles need names that reflect their ancient natures. Just a thought.

I have to say I am addicted to the Puerto Rican Yauco and the Celebes Kalossi.
The Yauco has an incredible flavor. I only drink my coffee black no sugar so I taste the coffee not the additives and these 2 have my favorite taste. The pure Kona is fantastic and the Blue Mountain is the purest most subtle of coffeees but I can't believe anyone would put milk into it. It's like adding ice to single malt scotch or oj to Dom Perignon

Go out and win one for the big blue blob! They gave their last full measure of devotion for the blue blob.

Hmm, just doesn't have that ring to it, does it.

Correction: John Innerarity's Father, John Innerarity came over first to work for his Brother-in-Law, William Panton of Panton, Leslie & Company. Later, his oldest son, James came over to work for his Uncle Panton and his Father, John Innerarity, Sr returned to Europe. Then John, Jr came in 1802 to clerk for his Uncle William Panton in his Trading Firm. James moved to Mobile to clerk for his Uncle there and John, Jr stayed in Pensacola. I doubt seriously that (Uncle) John Innerarity, Jr was one in the same, "Jean Lafitte" gathering all the history I've read thus far but it makes a good story I guess. Innerarity Island was given to John Innerarity which still bears his name today. John lived in his Uncle William Panton's home in Pensacola all his life, which today is the site of City Hall. A model of his home sits on the corner of Main and Spring Streets in Pensacola today in place of his home. I am a descendant of John's brother, James Innerarity, first Mayor of Mobile, AL. The Innerarity brothers and William Panton came to America from Scotland.

This is the one thing that throws my wife and I off about some of the churches we have wanted to visit in the local area, because their 'statement of faith' talks about how they believe everyone is endowed with the spiritual gift of speaking in tounges. I believe in spiritual gifts, the bible says we all have them...but for some reason the speaking in tounges thing strikes me as hokey. Who am I to know a mans heart though?

This is refreshing, knowing that at least two men out there value a woman "as is." Thank you, thank you!

But let me pose a question here. Could you be attracted to a woman who is caring, compassionate, giving, and loyal when this same woman is not considered pretty by today's asthetic standards? Or, more bluntly, could you love a wonderful woman who is thought to be ugly?

Don't know why, but that is a thought that occurred to me when I read your post.

BTW, love some of your stuff, especially about the luna moth. Beautiful creature and I read how they don't have a mouth and just exist to reproduce. Hopefully, that one got some quality procreating time in before its demise. Boy, I sure didn't expect THAT ending!
