Unabashed is the personal blog of Matt Mitchell, a writer, Southerner, technophile, conservative liberal (I adhere to no political party, just as I adhere to no organized religion), naturalist. It is updated more than rarely but less than frequently. Potential topics include writing and the publishing business in general, blogging, technology, environmentalism and nature, politics, and whatever else I come up with.

I am a sports fan, but most of my sports commentary is on my other website: Real Men Wear Houndstooth.

Unabashed is not a profit-based website. You won’t find any advertisements here, although I will, from time to time, make mention of assorted detritus I might be launching into the entertainment stream.
