The Cluttered Mind Cute fuzzy kitty pictures on Unabashed

My wife, who is a counselor, gave me a little personality quiz in which I was supposed to draw a person standing in the rain. Now, if she had really been counseling me, she might have been alarmed at the drawing I doodled with my free hand while I ate with my other:

The rain is supposed to represent my stress level, which, as you can see plainly there is only one drop above his head. It doesn’t matter that it’s a big fat drop, so evidently my stress level is low. Had I drawn an umbrella or a hat it would symbolize my readiness to handle the stress, but I only drew devil horns, so of course she can only deduce that I am unfit to handle my current stress level. She did remark that I drew him a nice chin butt, and that she’s going to take my drawing to work with her tomorrow to show her co-workers what a well-grounded husband she has.

“so of course she can only deduce that I am unfit to handle my current stress level.”

I’m not so sure that’s the only conclusion, Matt. :) (this is said as someone who thinks the snowman graphic is Excellent!)

  2. Ken McConnell Says:

Yea, love the snowman. My blog is insanely boring from a graphical point of view. Let the words paint the picture. Or something equally snobbish. Sometimes I post sunrises. Sometimes green aliens.

  3. Allyn Paul Says:

I think your drawing looks like Gene Simmons after a rough night on tour. What does that mean?
Also, since you were eating during the drawing, do you think the devil represents the way you feel about her cooking? (ouch!)

I wish I could take credit for that snowman, but I ganked it off the internet doing an image search for “evil snowman.” I linked the artist, of course, but he’s not updating his site any more.

Steve: I suppose you’re right, and I believe she did mention that it could mean I have psychopathic tendencies, but then I didn’t want to start spreading that rumor on the internet; you never know who might take it seriously :-)

Al: … ouch is right, because you may be onto something there. But if it reflects my feelings about dinner I can’t blame her because I cooked it. heheh
