Turn Up the Thermostat Review: Greatest Uncommon Denominator Magazine (GUD)
Nov 16

Inspired by my new friend Steve Buchheit over at Story Bones, here’s my own story bone:

Night fell and, much like a Superball, bounced down the hallway and disappeared into the furnace.

Story Bones; an interesting idea, and an even better name. Enjoy and good night :-)

Hey Matt, glad I could inspire. I just get so many good ideas or crazy thoughts I can’t pursue them all to see if there’s a good story lurking in there, so I decided to share them and see if someone else could use them. This also goes with my observation that two writers could start with the same “seed” or “story bone”, and even if they write in the exact same sub-genre, they’d come out with two completely different stories. And I love night disappearing into the furnance. That’s excellent.
