Warren Ellis has an interesting project in POD publishing. He’s self-published some of his choice essays through Lulu. He sold 400 copies in the first week, incl. one to me. Not bad. Personally, I think it would have done better if it’d been original instead of reprinted material from assorted articles he’s written. But I’m not complaining, I like it just fine.
As for my own POD adventures, they’re still forthcoming, but I’m leaning toward CreateSpace rather than Lulu.
