I enjoyed it. I love ancient myths and their origins. I have a collection of books about myths from the various countries that I have visited. The Hindis did see an elephant, according to what I've read, but the elephant itself was supported by a turtle, too. As a side note, I posted this piece too early by mistake. And I think some places do have different animals holding up the world. Some Hindis saw it as an elephant. I think the Eqyptians thought of the world animal as a croc.
